While MadMimi is a far cry from aweber, it’s perfect for small-time bloggers who wish to start creating an email list. The templates are VERY easy to use, and within minutes you’ll have a gorgeous email newsletter ready to send to your growing list! WooThemes is one of my favorite, and most recommended Premium WordPress Theme companies. Offering both free and premium themes, WooThemes has something for everyone. They’re quick loading, easy to use and modify, and they’ll impress your readers! I’ve been privileged to modify several of these themes for clients and have been very pleased with the coding of their themes. The admin settings are also very extensive, allowing anyone to customize their themes!

Twitter is a blogger’s friend. Through social networking we connect with like-minds, help those looking for advise in our area of expertise, and learn from those who’ve been blogging for years. We use this networking to build credibility, friendships, and marketing for our sites and products. However, Twitter can be a little overwhelming at first. With ScrapBlog you can create multimedia digital scrapbooks for free, then share them online! Who else lets you share your creations for free? If you want hard copies to treasure for years you can use their reasonably priced services to print your creations into high quality keepsake books, soft cover books, greeting cards, and post cards. Fun and easy to use, and highly addicting!!

Most bloggers can’t afford high-end photo editing software, so finding a free alternative is paramount. Picnik offers a free account which will allow you to do everything you NEED to do and more! And, if you want even more options you can pay just $24/year for a premium account which will give you access to additional special effects and fun stuff! Best of all, it’s all hosted online… no need to install anything on your computer!

Ink is my single most expensive office supply. I run a short-run print business from home and I go through hundreds of dollars worth of ink every year.
