We met with a surgeon on Thursday. Hubs has an umbilical hernia that needs repaired, so we were hoping he’d schedule surgery fairly soon. We weren’t expecting this soon! The surgery is Wednesday, but all the pre-op tests are Tuesday.
Because the hospital we’re using is out of town, we’ll be staying the night in a hotel on Tuesday evening. We have babysitters lined up for the little man and included an extra kid-free day for hub’s first day at home. Fortunately it’s a day surger and he’ll get to come home the same day, but he’s been warned that he’ll be very uncomfortable so we’re going to try and let him have Thursday to rest in peace. 
I imagine being Hub’s nurse for a week is going to keep me quite busy!!!
I got an email from the folks at CNET saying my Palm Pre hasn’t shipped yet, but I’ll get it by Tuesday… I’ll be gone Tuesday! They were nice enough to arrange to have it shipped to my father in-law’s lab so someone will be able to sign for it if it comes after we leave town. I’m hoping it arrives early in the morning, before we go, so I can take it with me! It will be hard to blog about it that first day if I don’t have it in my hands!
Starting Tuesday I’m supposed to blog every day at CNET. Hopefully I can keep up with that and still manage to post here and at Green-Parents.com too!
I’m really interested to “meet” the other 9 CNET bloggers covering the Palm Pre. The email I got last night had a few of their names in it, so I went and Googled everybody. I could only find information on one other person! He’s on Twitter and has a blog, so I sent a Tweet to him and he responed! He has his phone already and has posted a piture of it. I’m a tad jealous. haha
