I’ve been enjoying a social media network called Twitter. It’s what I use to update my little Minute by Minute box in my side bar, but it’s so much more than that!
Through this network I met @Nikki_S. She was asking for help in setting up a WordPress blog for her niece. I offered to help and little Zoe has been on my heart ever sense.
Can you imagine having a 6 year old laying in a hospital, on a ventalator, waiting for a heart transplant? That’s where Zoe is right now.
The family has some insurance, but do to this being a pre-existing condition, their insurance won’t cover it all. The medical bills are already rolling in and Zoe doesn’t even have a new heart yet!
After helping to set up Zoe’s Heart blog/site I offered to help Nikki set up an Etsy store where crafters could donate items to be sold. Just think, if people did their Christmas shopping in Zoe’s shop, they’d be getting beautiful handmade items, and helping a family at the same time!
