Sometime yesterday, on the drive through the Appalachian mountains, I made a deal with a tween blogger. I said I’d play the guitar and sing and let her record me for her Music Monday post.
I didn’t sleep a wink last night.
Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but really, why would I agree to such a thing? I can hardly play the guitar, let alone play and sing at the same time. And, the guitar I have to use is my brothers… not my own familiar instrument.
Hold a sec while I find something to steady myself. And someone, please remind me daily to think about things before agreeing to them!!
Off to hike up a mountain hollow and see if I can scream myself hoarse and maybe get out of this whole thing…

Patty, the gal who uploaded it is having some problems with YouTube. The video is there, but it still says it's being processed. For some reason you can watch it from a mobile device, but not a computer. If you're on a computer, you can click the youtube logo in the player and Watch it on YourTube, but you'll get the unprocessed notice. It's been up for over 24 hours. I don't understand why YouTube hasn't officially published it.
I was able to view it on YouTube. You did a pretty good job. I applaud you for allowing her to tape this. I couldn't do it. I have no musical talent other than listening.
I love how you were looking down at the guitar the whole time.
