Not literally, but when you’re creating custom graphics for Vampire Week you have to come up with some clever title about working at night…
Girl2Watch.com is one of my favorite clients. On a normal week they send me a several pictures of the week’s featured celebrity and I use Photoshop Elements to layer them with some graphics to create special slides for the site’s front page. Then I re-size the original images and create thumbnails for each post. I upload the images, format the posts, and schedule them. Easy and fun… gets me away from coding for a couple hours each week.
This week was a little more complicated. Actually, it’s been more like 2 weeks of preparation, phone/conference calls, and image hunting. I broke out Fireworks for this job and got to use all my fancy tools.

Thanks, Patty. It was fun to get away from the coding for a while and do some graphics for a change. Not being a huge vampire fan I found it chalenging to find things I liked. But, I am pleased with how it all turned out, and the client is tickled pink. Yay!
