Falling in love is a beautiful thing, whether it’s with your special someone, or a song. For me, they happened at the same time, several years ago. My then boyfriend (now hubs) introduced me to Sarah McLachlan via the City of Angels movie. I’ve been hooked ever since. My favorite song is Angel, of course, but I’ve also found myself adoring I Will Remember You and I love You from her Mirrorball album, and now, I’m in love with from her new album, Laws of Illusion.
One2One Network kindly sent me four tracks ahead of the album launch so I could tell you what I thought about them. In true Sarah McLachlan fashion, her whisper smooth voice lulls me into dream land. I’ve listened to these four tracks over and over. Picking a favorite is hard, and I know once the CD comes in I’ll have to pick all over again. For now, Forgiveness is my pick.
Laws of Illusion is Sarah’s first studio album of brand new material in seven years. From what I’ve heard, it is going to be worth the wait! This Grammy® award winning, multi-platinum singer/songwriter is set to release her long awaited new album, LAWS OF ILLUSION on June 15th!

Sarah McLachlan will be participating in the return of the historic all-female Lilith Fair festival this summer! From 1997 through 1999, Lilith Fair was one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world, with over 2 million fans in attendance and raising over $10 million dollars for national and local women’s charities.

Sarah Mclachlan has been one of my favorite artists for a long time. I’ve dreamed of being able to sing like her (I’ve tried, remember?) and I’m very much looking forward to owning her new album!
