A few months after we got married I finally gave in and decided to used our bank’s internet banking features, including online bill payments. I love being able to log on anytime and see which checks have cleared, what our debit purchases were, and not having to wait on the statements to come in the mail! I also like being able to pay bills online. For example; we have 2 credit cards, but the bills come at odd times of the month, and on different days. (go figure) With the online features I can head over to the credit card’s site, log in and see my bill, then pay it right there. This allows me to pay bills only twice a month and not worry about which ones we may have misplaced between the mailbox and the desk. lol
I’m saving on postage, licking fewer nasty envelope seals, and doing paperwork when it’s convenient for me.
There will always be things like Rent that I’ll have to mail a check for, but that’s ok. I don’t mind licking an envelope every so often.
