A few days ago I mentioned something about Google Alerts on Twitter. Within a few minutes, @trackle contacted me with a nice little tweet to tell me about their services. Being interested in all things geeky, I checked them out. Trackle.com is exactly what it sounds like… a tracking service. You can use it to track what people are saying about you and your brand, enter topics of interest or things you might like to blog about so you’re notified right away (or just daily) about news for your niche.
I think this could be especially helpful for bloggers. One of the coolest things about blogs and Twitter is that we have the opportunity to break news. A blog is instant, unlike a newspaper which is printed just once a day, or a tv show that may air at set times. Being the first to talk about something new is super cool!
How about tracking what’s said about your competitors? What better way to find out what works and what doesn’t?
Trackle will let you subscribe to it’s finds and be notified right away, or once a day. You can even customize the notifications into a newsletter format, so you get what you want, where you want it.
By participating, via. Twitter, in one of Trackle’s promotions I got a 60-day free trial of their Premium services. And, the invitation to share that same deal with you! They don’t ask for any financial information, which I really appreciate. (I can’t stand those companies that offer a ‘free trial’ and automatically start charging you if you forget to cancel.) It’s really fast and easy to set up too!
Be sure to use my promotional code: ERICASAYS to get the extended 60-day trial!
