One of my blogging goals for the new year is to guest post more often… hopefully once a month. I’m a rather shy person by nature, so approaching someone about guest posting for them is a little out of my comfort zone. However, when one of my favorite bloggers posted a writing contest on her blog, Skimbaco Lifestyle, I took it as a challenge, and here I am! Published!
The contest winner is the guest author with the most comments on their post. While I would love to win (please comment??), I’m even more excited about being published at Skimbaco! Katja is a fantastic blogger, social media enthusiast, and community manager of Collective Bias… She’s one of my heroes of the online world. To see my little post and bio on her site thrills me!
And, so does having completed one of my goals for the month!!
Another cool thing about this writing contest is that I got to write a post outside of my every day niche here at EricaSays.com. Lifestyle blogging isn’t my forte, and neither is story telling. But, it’s refreshing to change topic every so often and I had a lot of fun blogging for Skimbaco Lifestyle’s challenge.
