My #FollowFriday List

The #FollowFriday meme on Twitter is something really cool that I rarely find time to participate in. It’s not that I don’t want to, I just hate throwing out a list of names with the #followfriday or #ff hashtag without saying what I think each person should be followed… it’s against my #FollowFriday Policy. :-)

This week I want to share about a few people who mean a lot to me…

@Nikki_S
This woman is a rockstar. She manages to stay on top of her editorial duties at Mother’s Click and Lifetime Moms, runs half a dozen sites of her own, and she is a freelance writer. I should also mention she’s a wife, and the mother of four. Where in the world she finds time in her day to do all this stuff, I will never know. She’s my hero. She takes time for friends, is constantly advocating for other bloggers, and she is a great mother.

@AlyssaAvant
If I could sum up Alyssa in three words I’d say she’s “Encouraging and Creative.” When I’m down, I know she’s there to cheer me up, pray for me, or offer advice. Having Alyssa for a friend brings joy to my life. She is also one of the most creative and driven people I’ve met (online) and in the small amount of time that I’ve known her I’ve seen more ideas for businesses and ministries than one person could ever handle. She too manages to raise a family and work from home.

@theappleofmyeye
Courtney brings a smile to my face every time she Skypes me. :-) We think a lot alike in terms of business and networking and even though we both have little kids underfoot, tearing our attention away from our brainstorming, I find our chats refreshing. :-) Her positive and caring attitude, and lots of hard work, have earned her much respect in the social networking community.

If you could list three people you really connect with on Twitter, who would they be?

  1. You are awesome Erica! We do work well together and I cherish your support. It definitely isn't one sided. We lean on each other and I think it is important, as a blogger/mom/businesswoman to have someone to lean on. Thank you!

    Well I would list you for one. I find value in your tweets and always appreciate you retweeting me. Robert, also of the Twitter 12 has been a great source of information and blogging support. And i can't forget my friend Jeanette who is always so cheerful and always inviting me out to do stuff. One of these days I think I will have to take her up on it.

    Thanks for the kind words. :-) That's why I blog… to be helpful. Lord knows I don't make enough money at it to keep me going. No, it's the knowing I've helped someone along the way that keeps me going.

    My sentiments exactly Erica. I love getting emails or comments from people I have been able to help with my blogging or commenting. Getting paid to do it is just an extra perk.
