I’ll admit, I’m a Sony camera fanatic. I have owned at least a dozen cameras of many different brands and of them all, Sony impresses me the most. For the past three years I have been a very happy Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 owner, and after selling my pocket sized Kodak last month, I’d put back money to purchase a comparable Sony.
Now, I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just save the money, plus the money I made in my yard sale last month, and sell my beloved DSH-H2.
You see, this morning I discovered this beauty. It’s a Sony DSLR-a330
That’s right, a Sony DSLR that’s also configured to work as a point and shoot for those of us who like the ability to, well, just that, point and shoot. What if I could own one camera instead of two or three? (you really don’t want to know how many additional cameras are stashed in my closet) I really could live without a pocket size camera since my Palm Pre smartphone takes decent photos for sharing on the web…
What do y’all think? Should I save up and sink about $600 into one camera that I should be happy with for years to come and can gradually grow into?
