Have you ever wondered how other bloggers get a picture of their screen to post on their blog? Have you read tutorials with pictures of what to do? These “geniuses” aren’t taking pictures with their cameras, nor are they spending big bucks for software you could never afford.
ScreenHunter is one of the best screen capture programs available…
ScreenHunter 5 Free is free for unlimited personal and business use. It has no expiration date and can be distributed with free of charge. – wisdom-soft.com
There are Plus and Pro versions available with even more options, including video and sound capture, but for taking pictures of your screen and automatically saving as a jpeg, nothing beats the free version of ScreenHunter.
Once you have downloaded and installed the software, you can find it on your start menu. Open the program, and press the Standby button. Now, go to the area you wish to get a “picture” of and press F6. This will open the selection part of the software. Pick a starting point, click and hold while dragging the selection window to the desired size. When you release the mouse button, the software will take a picture of the selected area. In a few seconds a box will appear, telling you the images was saved and where to find it.
That’s it! You now have a .jpeg image of whatever you selected!
I’ve made a short screencast (using screenr.com) to show how this works. The only thing you can’t see is me pushing the F6 button on my keyboard to open the selection windows.

In screen Hunter software scrolling the page facility is not available why
Sorry, ScreenHunter only captures what is currently visible on your
screen. If you want something that will scroll the screen and get a
picture of something longer, you can try Snagit from
