Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks – A Review

Share

It’s been five months since I purchased my laptop, which I use almost exclusively. When I bought it, I considered getting a small wireless mouse, thinking I’d really need it for detailed work like photo editing and graphic design. However, due to Toshiba’s excellent touch pad, I never really needed a mouse. So, I didn’t buy one.

It’s not that a mouse wouldn’t make my job easier, I just didn’t see a reason to spend $40 on something I didn’t really need.

Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for NotebooksI changed my mind this week when I got the Office Max ad in the mail. Logitech, you have reversed my frugal resolve. When I saw the colorful and fashionable mice from Logictech, priced at just $19.99 (a $10 savings) I couldn’t resist. I went straight to the store and bought the last blue floral mouse on the shelf.

My husband has the same model, in plain gray, so I had already used and knew I liked this mouse. Finding it in a design I loved was just the added touch I needed to convince me this was the time to buy.

My thoughts on the Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks.

Love:

The mouse is available in several colors, and 3 graphic prints to suit any user’s personality. They are bold and fun!

I love the plug-and-play. No need to install software. Time Saving = Big Win.

USB mini receiver snaps into the bottom of the mouse. It not only stores the receiver, but also turns off the mouse, saving on battery life.

And, for being such a small mouse, it really is comfortable to use.

Dislike:

The body feels just a little plastic-y or cheap. But, for under $30 it’s a good quality mouse. If you want super-sturdy, you’re going to pay a lot more.

Note: I reviewed this device because I love it. I was not paid, or given a free product.

The secrets to blogging success

  • Great Post Erica:
I am a firm believer in logitech pointing devices as well, since I bought my trak ball, It's been almost ten yrs. now I won't use anything but Logitech
  • I think I originally got hooked on Logitech when I was working for my dad. He's an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer and I was doing some drafting for him. From there I moved to graphic design. In both fields, having an accurate mouse is highly important. Logitech has never disappointed!

    Thanks for stopping by!
