Everyone has something that relaxes them, stirs their soul, and calms their spirit. For me, that something is music. While I enjoy many genres and appreciate aspects of all the flavors, piano based music is my favorite; from Nora Jones, to Sarah McLachlan, Diane Birch, and Enya, to Keane and Coldplay. There is something about the simplicity of the piano that stirs me.
An online friend of mine just married a very talented man, who’s music is among the “most played” on my playlist. James Ference is a concert pianist, composer, and music teacher. He is gifted with a phonographic memory, meaning if he’s heard a song, even once, he can play it. He is able to play almost every instrument, and offers instruction on a wide variety of them. James is the father of two adorable children, and wife to Natalie. They make their home in Kansas City, Missouri.
On to the music…
James Ference has recently released his first four recordings… yes, four, all at once. From his original, heart-stirring compositions on Epic Musical: The Soundtrack of Life to Moonlight Serendae (Big Band Classics) and Latin Love (Latin Classics) James offers a little something for everyone. Then there’s Merry Christmas, And All That Jazz. Ahhh. I can already taste the hot coco and feel the warmth of a winter fire and great-grandma’s quilt.
My favorite, by far, has been Epic Musical. I haven’t been able to pick a favorite song; there are just too many that I like. Battle Cry for Freedom and Return to Glory are reminiscent of movie soundtracks. (Think: Last of the Mohicans. Yea, they’re that good!) Natalie’s Song and Love Story are both beautiful interpretations of love and adoration.
No matter your style, you will enjoy James’ original compositions and his renditions of classic favorites . Slow dance to I’ll Be Seeing You, or close your eyes and imagine yourself on a mountain peak while listening to Love Story as it stirs your heart to worship.
Somehow, the words beautiful and heart-stirring aren’t grand enough to describe the music of James Ference!

Please reconsider endorsing James Ference. James was married to another woman while involved in a relationship with Natalie. Natalie and James lied to their friends about their marriage when in actuality, he was married to this other woman. I see that your post about James was made in January 2009. At that time, although his former marriage was rocky, James was claiming that he wanted to repair the marriage. He didn't divorce his former wife until June 2009 and didn't legally marry Natalie until July 2009.
